Our Process for Manufacturing Kiosks, Vending Machines and Enclosures

While every project is slightly different, the sheet metal fabrication process has a few key stages that are applicable to the majority of projects.
Design
Sheet metal fabrication often begins with CAD 3D design of your product. We’re experienced in creating products using strict brand design plans as well as helping clients make completely bespoke CAD designs from scratch.
In addition to offering this as a service, LSW works closely with our clients to ensure that the final product conforms precisely to their specifications.
Our team is highly adept at using the latest sheet metal design software packages, including Radan and Solidworks. Using CAD/CAM design also means that we are able to quickly and easily programme our CNC machinery to carry out precise work in line with the original design specifications
Fabrication
Once you’ve greenlit the designs, we can start the sheet metal fabrication process, often including laser cutting metals to the necessary shapes. At LSW, we use a TRUMPF Fibre Laser Cutter, a system that provides greater speed, efficiency, and accuracy.
After the metal has been cut, it is then folded using one of our 3 CNC press brakes, including one with a 6-metre bed and a 400-ton capacity. We can accomplish effective results through the use of a wide range of tools and toolsets to produce highly accurate results.
Assembly
We complete our products through welding, electromechanical assembly and powder coating as required. Our skilled technicians integrate mechanical and electrical components with precision, particularly for kiosks, vending machines and other complex applications. From design support to final assembly, we ensure accurate, safe and reliable builds with consistent quality.
